Library Rules and Regulations
1. Identification Card and Log in.
Only those students with identification cards will be allowed to borrow books and other library materials. Students will be responsible for all library materials.
All library user should register their names at the log in the statistical record.
2. Reference Books
Reference books such as encyclopedia, dictionaries, handbooks, yearbooks and atlases cannot be taken out of the library.
3. Lost Book
A lost book should be reported immediately to the librarian. It should be replaced by the same or later edition of the books.
4. Mutilated books
Writing in books, tearing pages or any any forms of defacement are strictly prohibited.
GENERAL CONDUCT
Violation of the following may result in confiscating of he ID and therefore suspension of library privileges.
1. Silence should be observed at all times.
2. Upon entering the library please deposit your big bags in the baggage counter and you can bring your books, notes and pen for research and reading, secure your wallets and other valuable things like laptops, cellphones and any gadgets.
3. Eating, drinking inside the library is absolutely prohibited.
4. Students should show courtesy at all times.
5. Books and other materials may not be taken out from the library may not be taken out from the library without permission from the librarian.
6. Students should throw pieces of paper into the wastebasket instead of scattering them on the table and the floor.
7. Return the chairs to their proper places before leaving.
8. Newspaper should be returned to the librarian.
9. Students should not leave the books on the table after using. They should be returned in the shelves where they are filed.
10. Any form of recreation, is strictly prohibited (the library is a place for studying and research).
Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct, which governs Library use, was developed to assure fair access to resources and services, to offer facilities conducive to serious study, and to safeguard the collections. Library users agree to follow this code of behavior when utilizing library facilities and resources. Library patrons who do not follow the library code may be asked to leave the library, have their borrowing rights removed, and/or referred to School Standards.
